Venezuela’s nature is incredibly diverse. It has everything – Andean peaks, Caribbean coastline, bountiful offshore islands, grasslands with exotic wildlife, and most amazing of all: La Gran Sabanna with its flat-topped mountains called “tepuis”. These unique mountains are part of one of the oldest geological formations in the world. Once you ascend one of the “tepuis”, another world far from the vibrant lowland will greet you. Impressive rock formations, amazing minerals (especially quartz crystals), the view over Angel Falls, the other “tepuis” and the Great Savanna will enchant even the most experienced traveller.
