Today, the Sacred Valley remains a lush agricultural region, supplying the city of Cusco with many agricultural products. This tour includes a visit to the Pisac Ruins, an Inca complex showcasing the impressive architecture of the Incas. Once, this complex comprised large buildings with enormous walls made of stone blocks, and you can still see how imposing they were. Then, you will visit the Pisac Andean market, where thousands of people from the region come to sell and buy agricultural products and handicrafts. It is an interesting experience offering new insights into the culture of this region, and of course, you will also have time to do some shopping! You will also visit Ollantaytambo and its ruins. These famous ruins are named after Ollanta, a warrior who fell in love with an Inca princess but could not marry her. One of the best-preserved sites in this area is Hanan Huacaypata, located in the northern part of the main square. This ruin consists of elegantly crafted stone walls.
