Day 7 Departure
Day 1 | Arrival in Cusco & Sacred Valley Tour with Pisaq and Ollantaytambo Your private tour begins with a visit to the Pisac Archaeological Site, an impressive Inca complex perched on the mountainside. The site features remarkable stonework and a series of agricultural terraces that reflect the ingenuity of Inca engineering. Afterward, explore the Pisac Market, a vibrant gathering where local communities trade produce, textiles, and crafts. It’s an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in regional culture—and perhaps find a few unique souvenirs. Visit the Ollantaytambo Fortress, an imposing archaeological site with immense terraces, finely carved stonework, and sweeping views of the valley. According to legend, the site is named after the warrior Ollanta, who defied the Inca nobility for love. Highlights include Hanan Huacaypata, an area of refined stone structures believed to have been of ceremonial or administrative importance. |
Day 2 | Visit to Machu Picchu |
Day 3 | Inca Innovations and Andean Traditions: Day Tour to Maras, Moray & Chinchero Begin with a visit to the Maras Salt Flats, a stunning patchwork of terraced pools used to extract salt since pre-Columbian times and still active today. Your guide will explain the historical and cultural significance of this photogenic site, where salt harvesting continues using traditional methods. Continue to Moray, an archaeological site unlike any other. Its circular terraces form a striking amphitheater-like shape carved into the earth. Experts believe this site served as an agricultural laboratory for the Incas, who used its varying microclimates to experiment with crop cultivation. Then visit Chinchero, a highland village considered by locals to be the mythical birthplace of the rainbow. Explore the 17th-century colonial church built atop Inca foundations and stroll through the lively market—particularly colorful on Sundays—where artisans from surrounding communities gather to sell textiles and crafts. |
Day 4 | Cusco city tour (half a day) |
Day 5 | Crossing the highland by bus from Cusco to Puno |
Day 6 | Titicaca Lake: Uros & Amantani island |
Day 7 | Titicaca Lake: Taquile island & return to Puno |

Day 6 | Titicaca Lake: Day trip to the floating Uros Islands & Taquile Island We then continue the journey towards Taquile Island. At arrival, hike up along a narrow and gradually ascending path, that takes us to the village while enjoying the view and the typical houses inhabited by quechua natives. |
