Day 1 | Arrival in Lima, Peru
Pick up at airport and transfer-in to hotel in Lima.

Day 2 | Travel to Paracas
In the morning, transfer to the bus station in Lima for your 4 h long journey along the Peruvian coastline on a tourist bus bound for Paracas.
Upon arrival in Paracas, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in and relaxation.

Day 3 | Ballestas Islands & Mountain bike in the Paracas National Reserve
Morning boat tour to the Ballestas Islands.
Pickup from hotel around 8 am. The morning tour is a 2 hour boattrip where we will visit the Ballstas island. From the boat we can observe the wild life of Ballestas, that consist of: Sealions, tendrils, boobies, pelicans, penguins and more than 200 birds (migratorians and endemics)
During the trip we will pass by “El Candelabro”. It’s a impressive figure painted in the sand and its origin (a well as the Nazca lines) is unknown.
Remember to bring a jacket as the mornings can be chilly.
Return to Paracas around 10:20.
Around 11 AM, after a short break for a coffee or snack, we will do another tour to visit the Paracas Natural Reserve by mountain bike. It’s a private tour with local guide. Visiting the desert by bike is the absolutely best way as the climate is warm and windy and its relatively flat. Along the way there will be several photo opportunities and its possible to observe Flamingos and the beautiful desert landscapes. As it’s a private tour, the length and strength depends entirely of the clients and their physical shape. Return to Paracas after lunch.
In the afternoon, travel to Nazca by bus. Meeting by staff and transfer to hotel.

Day 4 | Nazca Lines, Cahuasi Pyramids and the Cantalloc Aqueducts
Overflight of the Nazca Lines: The timing of this overflight depends on weather conditions to ensure optimal visibility and safety, so please note that the order of activities may be adjusted on short notice. The Nazca Lines are a breathtaking collection of geoglyphs carved into the desert by the ancient Nazca civilization. From above, you’ll have the unique opportunity to capture photos and videos of these iconic figures. Afterwards, embark on a private tour of the Cahuachi Pyramids and Cantalloc Aqueducts. Cahuachi served as the capital of the Nazca culture from approximately 200 BC to 450 AD. This ceremonial center held immense cultural and religious significance until it was damaged by an earthquake and later buried in sand after a tsunami. Some of the pyramids have been carefully restored, while archaeologists continue to uncover and study others.
Conclude with a visit to the Cantalloc Aqueducts, a remarkable hydraulic system ingeniously crafted by the Nazca people. Still in use for agriculture today, this ancient network stands as a testament to the Nazca’s impressive engineering capabilities and deep understanding of their environment.

Day 5 | Visit the Chauchille Cementary. Travel to Arequipa
Chauchilla Cemetery, discovered in the 1920s, features a series of mud-brick tombs containing the mummified remains of the Nazca people, dating from approximately 200 to 900 AD. Remarkably, despite being over a thousand years old, many of the mummies still have skin and hair intact. This exceptional preservation is due to both the ancient mummification techniques and the arid climate of the Peruvian desert. In the afternoon, you’ll travel by executive bus to Arequipa, arriving in the late evening. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel for a restful night.

Day 6 | Arequipa City tour with Santa Catalina and Andean Sanctuaries Museum
Arequipa, nestled in the Peruvian Andes, is a captivating city known for its striking white colonial architecture, earning it the nickname “The White City.” As Peru’s second-largest city, it also held the title of the nation’s capital from 1835 until 1883. This three-hour city tour begins with your guide picking you up from your hotel in town. You’ll start by visiting the scenic viewpoints of Yanahuara and Carmen Alto, where you can enjoy sweeping views of the city and its volcanic backdrop. From there, stroll through the charming colonial streets, exploring historic sites such as the churches of San Francisco and Santo Domingo. A highlight of the tour is the Monastery of Santa Catalina, an architectural gem built in the 16th century and opened to the public in 1970. This monastery is one of the city’s most treasured landmarks, with beautiful courtyards, narrow alleyways, and historic artwork (entrance to Santa Catalina is included). Following this, you’ll visit the Andean Sanctuaries Museum, home to the famed “Juanita, the Ice Maiden.” Discovered in near-perfect preservation, Juanita is the museum’s most renowned exhibit. Before exploring the collection, you’ll watch an introductory video on the research and discovery of Juanita, setting the stage for your visit. The museum also features a fascinating display of 550-year-old Inca artifacts, offering insight into the region’s rich cultural heritage.

Day 7 | Free day in Arequipa
Free day in Arequipa, to enjoy the city and a great offer of restaurants, handicrafts shops, bars and coffee places.

Day 8 | Colca Trek: 3 days trek in shared services – day 1:
Early morning pick-up from your hotel, followed by a scenic three-hour drive to Chivay, the main town of the province, where a delicious breakfast awaits. Afterward, we continue the journey for about an hour to Cruz del Cóndor, a renowned viewpoint for observing the majestic Andean condor in its natural habitat. Next, we head to Pampa San Miguel (3,400 m), the starting point of our hike. Our descent into the canyon takes approximately three and a half hours along a winding trail, revealing stunning Andean vegetation, unique geological formations, and breathtaking mountain views. Between January and May, you may also have the chance to pick prickly pears and spot condors along the way. The trail brings us to the community of San Juan de Chucho, where we’ll enjoy a well-deserved lunch. The afternoon is free for personal exploration. You might choose to visit a local museum featuring native products, artifacts, tools, and other traditional items from the region. Dinner is served in the evening, during which your guide will introduce you to the culture, ethnic groups, and traditions of the Colca Canyon. They will also provide a briefing on the activities planned for the next day.

Day 9 | Colca Trek: 3 days trek in shared services – day 2:
Breakfast is served in the morning before we embark on a three-hour hike toward Sangalle, a beautiful oasis nestled in one of the deepest parts of the canyon. The initial part of our trail gradually ascends toward Cosñirhua town at 2,600 meters elevation. Here, we’ll take our first break to enjoy a refreshing fruit juice, observe a local guinea pig farm, and replenish our water supplies if needed.
Continuing on, we pass through the village of Malata, renowned for cultivating a diverse array of vegetables and fruits such as alfalfa, broad beans, pumpkins, squash, avocados, cherimoyas, figs, and prickly pears. Malata is also notable for its charming 17th-century church. The local inhabitants proudly preserve their traditions in this pleasant and rustic environment, maintaining a deep connection with their deity, Pachamama or Mother Nature.
Later, we’ll begin a descent of about 40 to 50 minutes toward the river. After an additional 15-minute walk and crossing a bridge, we arrive at Sangalle (2,100 meters) and our lodge. There will be time to rest before lunch.
In the afternoon, you may choose to explore the area and the surrounding forest or simply relax while enjoying a delicious Colca Sour or another beverage (not included). Dinner is served in the evening.

Day 10 | Colca Trek: 3 days trek in shared services – day 3:
Our day begins early with a three- to three-and-a-half-hour hike to the top of the canyon. Upon reaching Cabanaconde, we’ll pause for a hearty breakfast and a well-deserved rest.
Afterward, we board our transport back to Chivay. Along the way, we are treated to breathtaking views of the valley, with thousands of ancient pre-Inca terraces stretching across the landscape. We’ll stop at a small market where you’ll have the chance to purchase local souvenirs.
Next, we visit the thermo-medicinal baths, where you can relax and soothe sore muscles in waters that range between 38°C and 40°C—a perfect way to unwind after the adventure.

Day 11 | Travel to Cusco
Transfer from your hotel to the bus station for your journey from Chivay to Cusco, available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays only.
Departure: 07:00
Arrival in Cusco: 17:30
Upon arrival in Cusco, a private transfer will be waiting to take you directly to your hotel for check-in and relaxation.

Day 12 | City Tour in Cusco
Discover Cusco and the surroundings by a half-day private city tour including visit to Qorikancha (Sun temple) and the Inca Ruins in the outskirts of Cusco: Sacsayhuamana, Qenqo, Puca pucara and Tambomachay. Afternoon free to enjoy Cusco town.

Day 13 | Cusco – Free day
Today will be a day to enjoy on your hand the amazing city of Cusco and all it has to offer. There are plenty of options like: museums, archeological and religious sites, souvenirs’ shopping or just to hang around the many restaurants and cafes.
The local market place is also a good option to experience the local life and daily rhythm.

Day 14 | Rainbow Mountain (full-day tour)
The rainbow mountain, known as the 7-colour mountain, mountain colours, Vinicunca Mountain, is a magical place.
We will leave Cusco around 4:00 am to the south of the city, we will pass Urcos, and Checacupe until arriving at the community of Pitumarca (2:00 hrs of trip approx.) We will enjoy a nutritious buffet breakfast which will take About 40 minutes. After a short briefing with the guide, we will continue our journey towards the starting point of the trek (1:00 hrs approx). We will begin our walk at the foot of the Ausangate snowfall, an ascent of 2:30 hrs approximately until arriving at the highest point where we can appreciate the rainbow mountain. During this trip, we will have the opportunity to see the different varieties of South American camelids as well as own flora of the place. Arriving at Rainbow Mountain we will have time to take photographs of this Puzzling place in about 40 minutes. Later we continue with our descent hike of approximately 2 hours arriving at the point where we start our walk where we are waiting for our transport to go in the direction of the restaurant in Pitumarca where we await our delicious lunch buffet will have 1:00.
Return to Cusco by the end of the day.

Day 15 | Full day tour to Sacret Valley with Homestay
Meeting meeting with the guide and departure towards the Sacred Valley. First visit is Awanacancha a weaving center were you can appreciate some South American Camelids like llamas, alpacas, guanacos and vicuñas. Then continue to Pisac Inca Ruins then we will spend time at the Pisac Indian Market. Then continue to an important huaca in Urco, here you can see a special temple dedicated to the water and mother earth. Continue to visit the Inkariy museum where you can appreciate that Peru is the cradle of several cultures from Caral It is attributed an antiquity of 5000 years and is considered the oldest city of America, to the Inca Culture.
Later we’ll continue to Chichubamba, where we’ll spend the night in a charming, local guesthouse and get to experience the hospitality of the natives of the Sacred Valley.

Day 16 | Chichubamba – Ollantaytambo
After breakfast, well do some real, communitarian tourism by participating in different local workshops. You will get to learn more about ceramic and how they prepare chocolate at home. It’s a lot of fun and a real opportunity to learn more about the ancient and still living cultures. On the way to Ollantaytambo, we are going to make a stop at “El Descanso” to visit a singular family that prepare a local drink called “Chicha”. It is an alcoholic beverage extracted from the fermentation of corn. It is used in a ceremonial offering to the Pachamama. Visit the ancient ruins in Ollantaytambo and some of the greatest masterpieces of the Incas.

Day 17 | Inca Trail (km 104) to Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes (2050 m)
After a well deserve rest, we’ll start our first experience to the famous Machu Picchu, but will take a slightly different approach. Will depart from Ollantaytambo and catch a train from Ollantaytambo station, down the Urubamba River, to the place known as Km. 104 from where our trek starts. This trail head (2128 m), which will lead us up, by a quite steep section of well-maintained switch-backs, to the last section of the Classic Inca Trail. Along this hike, we will have the opportunity to see other archeological sites.
After passing the control, we will visit the archaeological site of Chachabamba, which was possibly built for religious purposes. Continuing with the hike, we will have our first break to taste some snacks while we observe the beautiful landscape. Views of the Urubamba River, surrounding mountains, and the Veronica glacier are impressive and visible throughout the hike. We will continue until we reach the archaeological site of Wiñayhuayna (2650m), a beautiful Inca construction that had different functions related with the daily life. Then, we will continue the hike to Intipunku or The Sun Gate (2730 m), where we will have a spectacular view of Machu Picchu and the surrounding mountain and valleys. After a short rest, we will head down a lovely trail, passing briefly by citadel to catch a bus (2433 m) that will take us to back the town of Aguas Calientes. Night in hotel. Day 18 | Inca Trail 2d/1n (soft hike) & Machu Picchu
Shared services
We will leave our hotel in Aguas Calientes towards Machu Picchu after breakfast at about 5:30am by bus. We are leaving that early because at this time the site is less crowded and the morning is a good time to enjoy the calmness and the ancient spirit of the best-known archaeological site on the continent.
After our arrival at the citadel around 6:00am, our guide will give us detailed information about Machu Picchu and the history and culture of the Inca. Thereafter, you will have enough free time to enjoy and explore the site on your own (f.ex. go to the Inca Bridge, explore the variety of buildings or climb Huayna Picchu for an amazing panorama picture).
A bus takes you down to Aguas Calientes. We will leave Aguas Calientes in the afternoon. Return to Cusco by the end of the day.

Day 19 | Cusco – Lima – Departure
Transfer to Cusco airport, flight to Lima. At your arrival in Lima transfer to the international departures to make the check in. Return home.
