Alex was born in Suesca, Colombia, one of the country’s most renowned rock-climbing destinations, where he developed a passion for the outdoors and mountaineering from an early age. Over the years, he has climbed extensively throughout the Americas, including in Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Venezuela, Argentina, the United States, and Nepal.

He began his guiding career in 2006 and became a certified UIAGM/IFMGA Mountain Guide in 2013. He is also a certified ACME rock climbing instructor and mountain guide. Alex has completed notable first and second ascents in the Andes and has participated in Colombian expeditions to Manaslu in Nepal and Denali in Alaska.

In addition to guiding expeditions and pursuing personal climbing projects, Alex works with children and young adults, promoting environmental education and outdoor leadership. He is fluent in Spanish and English.

Santiago Contreras is a climber passionate about big wall climbing and mountaineering, skilled and experienced as a rock climber and high-risk industrial work instructor. He has climbed big walls in Patagonia, Argentina, Mexico, United States, Spain and Venezuela. On top of this, he’s been trekking and climbing the Colombian Andes since his youth, getting a wide knowledge of the main mountain areas in the country. Diego is a Bucaramanga-born architect and professional moiuntain guide with over two decades of technical climbing and backcountry experience. His passion for outdoor adventure and the vertical world was forged in the rugged terrain of the Chicamocha Canyon. Certified by the Colombian Association of Mountain and Climbing Guides (ACGME), he completed his international high-altitude training at Ecuador’s ESGUIM school and has led expeditions across major South American ranges.

His work focuses on high-exposure, self-sufficient alpine environments within Los Nevados National Natural Park. He also specializes in demanding multi-day, unsupported treks across super-páramo terrain, combining architectural precision with rigorous backcountry risk management in all expeditions.

Born in Caracas, Venezuela. Ricardo is one of the most accomplished mountaineers of his generation. He is been an active climber for more than 20 years, ranging from sport climbing competitions to big Wall ascents in remote areas around the continent. His passion took him to the rock faces of “La Gran Sabana’s” tepuis, where he started to lead groups into this amazing area, specializing in Angel Falls’ treks and climbs. Cristian is an experienced mountaineer, rock climber, and cyclist, with extensive practice in both mountain biking and road cycling. He has broad experience throughout the Ecuadorian Andes and other mountain regions across South America.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Ecological Tourism and is a certified Mountain Guide through ASEGUIM and IFMGA/UIAGM. He is also a certified Wilderness First Responder (WFR), trained in emergency care and rescue in remote environments.

His mountaineering experience includes expeditions in Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Mexico, and Argentina, with a strong background in high-altitude climbing, expedition logistics, and outdoor leadership.

Julver has been guiding since the start in the Arequipa region, and the fact that he is a local make him the perfect guide for the region. On top of this, Julver is an expert guide in Aconcagua having led more than 35 expeditions and summited more than 30 times. Adriel was born in Ollantaytambo, in Peru’s Sacred Valley of the Incas. After studying English in Lima, he graduated as a professional tour guide and later returned to Cusco.

With 27 years of experience, Adriel has led cultural, adventure, and nature tours throughout Peru, including the most iconic Inca Trails to Machu Picchu, Tambopata Reserve, and Manu National Park. During his career, he has guided more than 300 groups along the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.

Proud of his Andean heritage, Adriel is passionate about sharing Peru’s culture and natural treasures while supporting local communities and creating memorable travel experiences for his guests.
He is fluent in English, Quechua, and Spanish.

Sergio, an IFMGA mountain guide with 25 years of experience in the Bolivian mountains, has led expeditions across South America, including in Argentina and Chile, guiding on peaks such as Aconcagua (6,962 m), Ojos del Salado (6,891 m), and throughout Chilean Patagonia. He has also guided expeditions in Central Asia, including Lenin Peak in Kyrgyzstan (7,134 m) and Mustagh Ata in China (7,546 m), as well as on iconic peaks in the European Alps, such as Mont Blanc, Gran Paradiso, Monte Rosa, Dent du Géant, and others.

Sergio is also a biologist with a deep passion for nature and exploration. He currently serves as General Director of the International Guides School of the Bolivian Mountain Guides Association.He speaks Spanish and English.

Roberto is a very qualified and experienced mountain guide, working in the field since 2004. In 2007 he became a UIAGM/IFMGA certified guide, and a short time after an official instructor at the Bolivian mountain guide’s school. Roberto has broad experience guiding in Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru and Argentina. He is our main guide and coordinator for all our mountain programs in Bolivia, but also you may meet him on any other of our destinations. He speaks Spanish and English.
