OVERVIEW

Palomino is a town on the Caribbean coast, just in the border between the states (Departamentos) of Magdalena and Guajira, roughly 70 km from Santa Marta. It is become a very popular destination for travelers due to the wide offer of accommodation and activities. The location is perfect, with the Caribbean sea on one side and the beginning of Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta on the other. Culturally is also a meeting point for the traditional Indigenous communities, the locals form the coast and the people from the interior of the country.

Aite Eco-Hotel is located by the beach, close to Palomino. The architecture is inspired by the nature that surrounds it and the local indigenous communities Kogi, Arhuaco and Wayuu.
The hotel has a restaurant which offers a culinary experience inspired by local ingredients turning it into a fusion of Colombian cuisine under the artistic hand of our Chef Gonzalo Ramirez Quijano.

Standard double room with garden view	1-2	1	Nimuñi, is a cozy double room with a private deck opening up to Grandma’s garden, where you can sit and watch the high peaks of La Sierra Nevada and listen to the bird songs. It is equipped with a queen size bed, a bathroom with a wonderful view of the surrounding green space, a fan, a mini safe, a mini bar, reading lamps and an internal telephone. This room has a wonderful terrace with a view of the mountains and does not have a sea view.
Standard double room with far distance sea view	1-2	5	A few steps from the small pool, on the upper part our resort are our double rooms. With a distant view of the ocean, these rooms are perfect for those who love the beach, but enjoy having the reception, restaurant and social areas nearby. These rooms were named in honor of the Arhuaco and Kogui cultures that live in the mountains of the sierra, and that is why we chose words in their language, representative of their culture. The upper rooms with a distant view of the ocean are Zugi, Sumeia, Mockuy, Ñui and Saja we chose a little different from the other and have been uniquely designed to provide utmost comfort and coziness to our guests.
Standard beach front double cabins	1-2	2	Maitta and Mojuui, our standard and Heritage beach cottages are cozy and perfect for those couples who want to wake up at the foot of the waves. They are located on the beach just a few steps from the sea. The architecture of these rooms is a refreshing blend of traditional style and local indigenous techniques. We use thatched roofs combined with modern design elements and elegant touches of stone and wood. These cottages allow you to experience the small joys of life like a shower in the semi-open bathroom or relax on the sit-out on the colorful hammocks which are perfect for finding inspirations by the romantic sunrises and sunsets. The interior was designed exclusively for the resort, enhancing the individual character of each cabin.
Beach Deluxe Cabin	1-2 (4)	3	Ama, Shishika and Sawaina are our deluxe suite cottages for those couples who want to enjoy the greatest possible comfort in a spacious room. The private terrace of each of these cottages has a spectacular view of the Caribbean Sea, ideal for couples. These casitas are located on one side of the beach in a privileged position and have been decorated with Wuayuu elements exclusively designed for Aité by the renowned Wayuu artisan, Conchita Iguaran. They are also the most spacious and upscale casitas we have.
Beach Queen Superior Cabin	1-5	2	Sinduli and Kale Kale are our superior queen cottages, these are very comfortable and spacious cabins with an ideal floor plan to accommodate large families with children or friends. Their space is specially designed to provide comfort to those families and friends who enjoy being together yet have a spacious room. Each cabin has two queen sized beds and a sofa bed that converts to a twin bed having a maximum capacity of 4 people, they are ideal for families, group of friends and/or siblings.
Beach King Superior Cabin	1-4	4	Katto’ui, Jamma, Iwana and Wui are individual cabin set in the two-story beachfront cottages with an open view of the ocean. Each two story building consists of two cabins and can accommodate up to 4 people. Each cabin has a king bed and two sofa beds that convert to twin beds and are perfect for families or couples who enjoy having a large space. The second floor cabins have an unparalleled view and is undoubtedly one of our guest favorite. Given its design and distribution it is ideal for families or groups of friends who want to be together but independent, for example children downstairs and parents upstairs or vice versa or one family in each cabin. It should be noted that they are independent cabins with seperate accesses.
