The Tayrona National Natural Park is located 35 km. North from Santa Marta city on Colombia’s Caribbean coast. The National Park is roughly 150 Km2 and is home to a vast number of endemic species and biodiversity, due to its closeness to the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta mountain range and its different climates.
It is the second most visited park Natural Park in the country and a must for those visiting the are and looking to enjoy some time at the real Caribbean tropical beaches.

Villa Maria Tayrona is inside a property of 45-acres that stretches all the way to the beach. The hotel itself is not on the beach, but 10 minutes walk from it. The original colonial house is two hundred years old, and it is been preserve as much as possible.
It is also ideally for visits to the Tayrona National Park, just 10 km. from one of the main entrances “El Zaino”.

All the rooms are decorated differently to provide its own experience. There is also different types of room and can be chosen according to ones taste.
