Sustainable Amazon Experience in the Iquitos Region

Muyuna Lodge is a sustainably operated Amazon lodge located approximately 140 km, or around 3 hours by boat from Iquitos, deep within one of the most biodiverse regions of the Peruvian rainforest.
It offers carefully designed 3 and 4-day programs that allow guests to fully immerse themselves in the natural rhythms of the Amazon.
The lodge features 17 private bungalows, ensuring comfort while maintaining a low environmental footprint in harmony with the surrounding ecosystem.
Situated within the Communal Regional Conservation Area “Tamshiyacu-Tahuayo,” it actively supports the protection of this vast and fragile rainforest landscape.
Sustainability is at the core of its operations, combining responsible tourism practices with conservation awareness and community engagement. Experienced bilingual naturalist guides provide highly personalized attention, with small groups limited to a maximum of 9 travelers per tour.
Birdwatching is a highlight of the experience, with abundant opportunities to observe the rich avian diversity of the region. For more adventurous travelers, camping experiences can be arranged as part of longer customized programs upon request.

A shorter 3-day / 2-night version is available for travellers with limited time. The itinerary follows the same program as described above, with departure on Day 3 after lunch.
FLIGHT SCHEDULES
Recommended Arrival: At latest at 09:00 AM.
Recommended Departure: After 5:30 PM.
This allows enough time for doing the activities the last day and return to airport in time.
